A swim in Brays Bayou turned into a water rescue for one woman. The Houston Fire Department pulled the woman out of the water at MacGregor and Scott, just miles from the Scott Bridge. She told authorities she wanted to go for a swim so she jumped in the water near the Medical Center.

But police say the woman didn't realize the currents were so strong and needed help getting out. Authorities hope the incident will remind people the bayous are dangerous.
