Family escapes burning home in NW Houston

HOUSTON The fire broke out around 1:30am at a house on Brookstone and Arbor Wood. A family was inside at the time but they all made it out safely. Crews found flames coming from a single bedroom and were able to put the fire out before it spread to the rest of the home.

Crews believe the fire was accidental but aren't sure of a specific cause at this time.
