Decomposed body found in Memorial Park

HOUSTON Police do not think foul play was involved in the death, however, they are waiting for the results of an autopsy. The skeletal remains were found in the woods near a seldom used jogging trail. There are believed to belong to an adult male.

"It has been there for some time," said Bart Oxspring with the HPD Homicide Division. "There are no signs of trauma right now and we're going to wait for positive identification from the ME's office."

Detectives say they found identification near the body, but are not positive the ID belonged to the dead man. They are hoping the autopsy will give them more information.
