SPCA seizes 24 horses from Splendora home

SPLENDORA, TX The horses were discovered by Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Precinct 4 deputies Thursday morning.

SPCA officials were called out to the home and determined the horses suffered from behavioral issues and lacked food and water. A judge signed an order granting the agency custody of the animals.

The horses were loaded into three trailers and taken back to the facility, where they'll remain until a judge determines their fate.
