MISSOURI CITY, TX
Officials with the Missouri City Police Department say they received several tips as to who may have been responsible for the damage left behind on Wednesday. Working those leads, detectives were able to obtain an arrest warrant late Wednesday, which ultimately led to the arrest of Manchie Sheppard, a resident of the Quail Valley East subdivision.
Authorities say at least 26 locations were tagged by vandals in the area, everything from the pool and community clubhouse to people's homes. Vehicles were also spray painted.
The city and the community management company sent crews to clean up the graffiti immediately.
Sheppard, 18, is charged with criminal mischief and is being held on $40,000 bond.
