HOUSTON --
An officer in an unmarked police car was involved in an accident overnight in southwest Houston. It happened around 1am off West Bellfort at Lasalle. Investigators say the unmarked police car - a Ford Taurus - was turning when it was struck by a speeding car. The officer was not hurt. The driver of the other car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
