"A lady was going to her garage when she observed an individual in her back yard," Hope Mills Police Captain Joel Acciardo said. "He was naked at the time, she screamed and he ran off."
"She grabbed her son right away and went across the street to get a neighbor, right next to me, to make sure he didn't go into the house or anything," resident Tricia Patterson said. "By the time she got back, he was gone."
On April 1, police believe the same man pointed a gun at a woman and her daughter in the yard of a house on Old Railroad Way as he exposed himself.
Authorities think the same man also appeared in Richard Williams' back yard.
"My wife woke me up about 6, 6:30 a.m., let me know someone was at the back window," Williams said. "I ran out and checked the premises and he was gone."
The latest sighting happened Monday, when police received two reports of a naked man on the railroad tracks behind the housing area.
"We lock our storm doors now," Patterson said. "Some of us have had electricians put up more lights for security, we've also installed peepholes."
Authorities are telling residents if they see anyone suspicious to give them a call.
