Tribute to be held for Cynthia Woods Mitchell

THE WOODLANDS, TX The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion will host the tribute honoring the woman the pavilion was named for. Cynthia Woods Mitchell died last December at the age of 87. Thanks to her generous donations, musicians and artists around the city were able to live their dreams.

Tonight at 7:30pm, the Houston Symphony is paying tribute to Woods Mitchell. The special concert will feature her favorite classical music. Pre-concert activities start at 6 o'clock.
