Murder charges are pending against a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man in southeast Houston, police said Thursday. Kendrick Romaine Hicks, 21, is accused in the killing of Corey Bean, 27, at 7900 Morley about 8:20am on Wednesday. Bean suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD officers said the two men were arguing over money when Hicks pulled out a gun and shot Bean multiple times. Hicks later surrendered to police and admitted to his involvement in the shooting.
