Galveston ISD super sole finalist at other district
GALVESTON, TX
The Little Elm ISD school board last night named Galveston ISD Superintendent Lynne Cleveland the sole finalist for its vacant superintendent position. By law, the district has to wait three weeks before it can hire Cleveland.
"I am extremely excited to join the community, one where it is obvious that the staff and community are very committed to student excellence," Ms. Cleveland said in a statement on Little Elm ISD's website. "I look forward to working with everyone and getting to know our families."
Cleveland also held many other positions at various Houston-area school districts, including Clear Creek Independent, where she served as assistant superintend for secondary education.
