Pool cleaners find shooting victim

HOUSTON Police told us that around 11:20am, two pool cleaners went to a house on Old Oaks and Benignus and found a man shot by the swimming pool. The cleaners then called 911. Officers think someone broke into the house.

Sgt. W.L. Meeler with the Houston Police Department said, "They left the backyard of the residence and called authorities. Once the patrol units got there, they found there was forced entry into the residence and some items were moved around on the inside of the house."

The wounded man lives at the home but police did not release his identity. He is reportedly in critical condition.
