Galveston giving away trees today

GALVESTON, TX Thousands of trees were killed by Hurricane Ike's salty storm surge. Now, for the second time this year, the city will be giving away crepe myrtles, sweet bay magnolias, oaks, redbuds, and more. Trees will be given away on a first come, first serve basis. Just bring them a Galveston utility bill.

And if you bring your own bag you can also get free mulch.
