Authorities chased him throughout north Houston, starting around 1pm. The man finally stopped in the center of FM 1960 near Carlsway after about 45 minutes and peacefully surrendered to authorities in the middle of the road.
Officers with DPS were involved in the chase, along with other agencies. Deputies plan to file evading arrest charges.
