Headbutting defendant gets 39 years

YAKIMA, WA Eriberto Gonzales, 25, was convicted earlier this month of murder and sentenced Wednesday for the March 2007 ambush killing of Ezequiel Reyes, 25.

During the trial, Gonzalez headbutted his lawyer, causing a cut over the attorney's eye, in a disagreement over defense strategy.
