Woman's purse snatched at gunpoint

HOUSTON On Thursday, September 24, at around 5am, a 50-year-old woman was putting her groceries in her car in the Kroger parking lot located at 9330 Jones Road in northwest Houston. She was approached by a black male with a gun. The suspect held the gun on the victim as he snatched her purse from the front passenger seat of her car. He then got into a white mid-sized four door car with a loud muffler and fled the scene.

Minutes later, at around 5:30am, a woman was captured on a surveillance camera at an Exxon Station located near Highway 290 and Bingle Road using the victim's bank card.

The armed robber is described as a black male in his late teens to early 20's. He was between 5'8" tall with a medium build. He was clean shaven with a short close cropped hair cut.
