Bullock has been a frequent visitor to New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The actress has been a generous supporter of Warren Easton High School, one of Louisiana's first public high schools, which took on 10 feet of floodwater during Katrina and incurred some $4 million in damages.
Bullock's donations -- of hundreds of thousands of dollars -- helped fund scholarships, new band uniforms and renovations of the school auditorium.
