Houston plant icon John Teas dies

HOUSTON John Frederick Teas died Monday at the age of 74. His family has run Teas nursery on Bellaire for almost a century. John Teas also taught plant identification at the University of Houston and Houston Community College.

His family is working on funeral arrangements.
