New route to Texas Medical Center begins

HOUSTON METRO started its new Texas Medical Center Swiftline service this morning. It runs weekdays from 6am until 9am and then again from 3pm until 6pm. The bus leaves from the southeast transit center near Old Spanish Trail and Scott, and only makes five stops before it gets to the Medical Center.

The Swiftline service is said to be eight minutes faster than the old route.
