Man dies in his own driveway

HOUSTON Police say the 23-year-old left his home at around 5pm Friday to go to a friend's house. Investigators don't know that location, but they say after the shooting, two men took the victim back to his house on Utah at Wilburforce where he collapsed in the driveway.

Elaine Smithers, the victim's mother, said, "All I know is some boys brought him in and laid him out right there. They called me and said that my son had got shot and he was not breathing."

The victim's mother tells us when she went outside the two men ran away. Houston police are looking for those men. At this point police consider them witnesses, not suspects.
