Security guard opens fire on alleged drunk driver

HOUSTON The situation started around 2:15am at the Oakleaf Village Apartments on Airline at West Dyna. That's where a security guard was trying to keep a man, believed to be drunk, from driving off. While the security guard stood in front of the car, the suspect allegedly tried to run him over.

In fear for his life, the security guard started shooting. The suspect drove off and it's unclear if he was hit by a bullet. The security guard injured his leg.
