Video of the March 31 holdup showed the robber telling the clerk he needed money for his daughter. He got away with about $200.
The Daily Record reports that four witnesses testified Tuesday, including the store clerk, Eric Owens. The clerk told the court that he was uncertain whether the robber's gun was real or a toy.
The gun was later determined to be a toy that had been painted black. The trial continues Wednesday.
