Unsolved murder prompts $20,000 reward

HOUSTON Mr. Villarreal was seen at the Westwind Club at Guhn and Fawndale off Highway 290 in northwest Houston during the evening of Thursday, April 23. At approximately 7:40am Friday, April 24, he was found seated in his silver Ford Taurus in the Pines apartment complex at 7200 Pinemont. He had suffered a gunshot wound to the head, but was still alive.

Mr. Villareal was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where he passed away Monday, April 27, 2009. Investigators have no leads in the case, and are asking the public's help with any information that may help solve it.

The reward of up to $20,000 will be paid for information called in to the 713-222-8477 (TIPS) hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, arrest and/or charging of any suspect in this case. All tipsters remain anonymous.
