Apparent assault victim suffers amnesia

HOUSTON The woman was found in the 6000 block of San Felipe about 1:45am on May 3. She is described a white female, 25 to 30 years of age, about 5'9" tall, and 160 pounds. She was wearing tennis shoes, a multi-colored shirt and dark slacks.

According to police, the vicitm suffered several minor head injuries and may have been assaulted. She was treated and released from an area hospital and has no memory of who she is or where she lives and may suffer from amnesia. Investigators have been unable to identify her through traditional means and there are no reports of a missing person fitting her description.
