Rosenberg Police arrested Fabian Gartica, 17, of Rosenberg on Sunday, May 10, for burglary of a building.
A citizen's tip alerted police to a possible burglary. Officers went to the Shamrock Gas Station on Avenue H and observed signs that a break-in had occurred. The citizen's tip led officers to the alleged burglar.
Approximately $80 worth of cigars was stolen from the gas station. Further investigation led police to Gartica and they say he later confessed to breaking in and stealing from the gas station.
