Authorities were trying to serve a warrant on a robbery suspect at a home on Wipprecht near Collingsworth in northeast Houston around 10:45am. The man refused to come out of the house, and it was believed he might have had another person in the home with him. SWAT officers were called to the scene.

Around 1pm officers finally made entry into the house and found the suspect wasn't there. The whole house, including the attic, was searched.

HISD's Fleming Middle School in the area was locked down as a precaution during the situation. The order has now been lifted without incident.
