Sheriff's deputies say the incident happened Friday between the hours of 3pm and 4pm on Gettysburg in the Tara subdivision of Richmond.

A man got out of a black, four-door car and grabbed the girl's bike and told her to get off the bike. A passerby screamed at the man and he fled in his vehicle.

The suspect is described as a thin build black male and approximately 6'0" tall. He was described as wearing a black ski mask, black gloves, black short sleeved t-shirt, and baggy faded blue jeans.

Investigators say the car's front license plate was broken. If you have any information, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS. There is a $5,000 reward being offered in the case.
