Grieving family makes plea for help

HOUSTON Flowers and a large sign mark the spot in northeast Houston where 21-year-old Freddie Chiherski, Jr., died last year. Investigators say he was walking on East Mount Houston near Mesa on April 8 when two vehicles struck him. Neither driver stopped to help.

"We need answers," said Freddie Chiherski, Sr. "Every day of my life, I miss my dear child. And if anybody can stand up and be an individual and do we have to do, then you could be considered a real person in the Lord's eyes."
