Man shot during violent home invasion

MISSOURI CITY, TX According to sheriff's deputies, the men broke in through the back door of a home on Caldbeck near Cambridge falls overnight. They tied up the male, a one-year-old girl and two other females inside and ransacked the home.

The male was shot when he tried to run. One woman managed to free herself and run to a neighbor for help.

Investigators say the robbers got away with unknown amount of money.
