Carolla spoke with Eyewitness News anchor Don Nelson about his new movie, "The Hammer." It opened only a few select theaters nationwide and it is now out on DVD.
Carolla stars as a middle-aged carpenter and boxing instructor who yearns for bigger and better things but finds himself complacent in his humdrum life. Losing his job on his 40th birthday, he gets a second chance at his dream when he is invited to try out for the U.S. Olympic Boxing team.
You may remember he was paired up with Julianne Hough on "Dancing with the Stars" last season. Carolla lost at least 25 pounds while on the show.
