The crash resulted in a devastating fire. By the time firefighters arrived on the scene, the blaze was already out and the plane was completely destroyed.
Both people on board died at the scene.

Two killed in fiery crash of homemade plane
LA PORTE, TX According to La Porte officials, the homemade small plane went down in an open field near the La Porte Municipal Airport. Two people -- one possibly a potential buyer -- were in the plane and had been practicing touch and go takeoffs and landings.
