Some employees were scared and the store was evacuated. But a manager and employee raided sporting goods for a net. The pair managed to capture the confused bat and released it outside.

The bat came in around 11pm Thursday through an open door at the Wal-Mart on Highway 35 at Highway 6 in Alvin.
