Family looks to public to find man's killer

The family of a murder victim is making a plea to the public to make sure the search for his killer is not forgotten. A year ago, Jon Marx was shot outside a Whataburger in northwest Houston. Yesterday, his family organized a barbeque and silent auction to raise more reward money for information leading to the killer.

"These people are still out there. They may be standing next to you," said Shanna Raney, Marx's sister. "Someone knows something. Someone's talked about it. We need closure."

There is already a $10,000 reward in place. If you have any information, please call Harris County Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
