Grand jury probing HPD officers

HOUSTON (KTRK) At least three HPD officers testified Thursday, including a former aide to Captain Duane Ready. Tracey Real faces questions about the time sheets she and other officers working security jobs for Ready turned in. Officer Jeanette Payne was also questioned about her own timekeeping.

We've learned the grand jury will hear next week from the HPD internal affairs officers conducting the investigation. The police chief is said to be angry the probe has taken this long.

Last May, 13 Undercover first exposed evidence of possible wrongdoing in its Blurring the Badge Investigation.
