"Shrek the Third" ended the year in second place, making about 15 million dollars less than Spider-Man 3. "Transformers" is next in line with 319 million. "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" comes in fourth and "The Bourne Ultimatum" rounds out the top five.
"Spider-Man 3" is biggest hit of 2007
NEW YORK It grossed more than 336 million dollars. Half of
that was made during its record-setting opening weekend. Worldwide,
Spidey raked in nearly a billion dollars, $890,871,626.
