Grand champion crowned at BBQ Championship at NRG

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A grand champion has been crowned in this year's World Championship Bar-B-Que contest at NRG.

Top honors went to Across the Track Cook-off Team as they were crowned grand champion. The first runner up was Iowa's Smokey D's BBQ and second runner up was Ram's Club.

It was a record year for the contest, attracting 419 entries for some certainly-stuffed judges.
