Galavis chose to give his final rose to Nikki Ferrell, sending an emotional Clare Crawley home. But the bachelor isn't engaged yet. He had the ring in his pocket, but told Ferrell he's not 100 percent ready to propose, citing that her father would've only wanted him to propose to her if he was absolutely sure.
"I'm 100 percent sure I don't want to let you go," he told Ferrell. "I like you a lot -- a lot. Nikki, will you accept my final rose?"
Galavis' "I like you" comment was enough for Ferrell, who nodded and said, "Absolutely."
Crawley was clearly hurt by Galavis' decision and didn't hide her feelings. Before walking away, she told Galavis how disappointed she was in him.
"I lost respect for you," Crawley said. "I thought I knew what kind of man you were. What you just made me go though ... I would never want my children having a father like you."
After she walked away, Galavis let out a sigh of relief and said, "I'm glad I didn't pick her."
Galavis is a single father and former professional soccer player. He was previously a contestant on "The Bachelorette," vying for Desiree Hartsock's heart, but he was not chosen.
So four months later, is Galavis finally in love? During the live after show, "The Bachelor: After The Finale Rose," Galavis dodged questions by host Chris Harrison about whether or not he now loves Ferrell. Galavis never really answers the question. He instead says it's been tough being on the show and they're looking forward to just taking it slow and being together in "real life."
When asked by Harrison about how long she plans to be in a relationship with Galavis, Ferrell replies, "As long as it feels right, I'll give it that length of time. Once it doesn't feel right I think I' m gonna be out. But it feels right."
Harrison awkwardly congratulated the couple. He seemed to be really glad to move on to a different subject as he introduced Andi Dorfman as the next star of "The Bachelorette."
Dorfman, a 26-year-old assistant district attorney from Atlanta, left this season of "The Bachelor" voluntarily on the second-to-last episode after criticizing Galavis' behavior and calling him "inappropriate."
The new season of "The Bachelorette" is expected to premiere on ABC13 on May 19.
