Police are looking for a driver who ran over and killed a man this morning in the intersection of Richmond and Dunvale in southwest Houston.

Officers are investigating the timing of the traffic lights to see if they were working properly, and they're looking for a dark-colored SUV.

It happened around 2am. According to investigators, a man was walking south on Dunvale, crossing Richmond when he was struck by an SUV traveling east on Richmond.

Police said that SUV did not stop after hitting the victim, who died from his injuries.

Officials are looking at surveillance video from businesses in this area to see if the vehicle was caught on camera. It would have front end damage. Anyone with information is asked to call HPD or Crime Stoppers.
