According to the Waller County Sheriff's Office, the grass fire was reported around 1:30pm on Joseph Road at Pinewood Valley.
Officials said it charred about 30 acres.
Multiple structures were threatened by the flames, but none were damaged. Multiple fire departments were at the scene and firecrews were able to extinguish the blaze within a few hours.
No injuries were reported.
