It started when someone called police reporting that shots had been fired at El Rodeo night club off of the Gulf Freeway near Edgebrook in southeast Houston.
When police arrived, a driver in a green van pulled out of the parking lot at a high rate of speed.
Police chased the suspect, who kept going even after losing his right front tire. Officers said he finally stopped and was taken into custody near the Eastex Freeway at Aldine Mail Route in northeast Harris County.
The man faces evading charges.
