It happened on Dillon Street near Kopman. Police say the suspect called his son shortly before noon this morning, saying that he had shot his wife. The son came over and saw the body.
The son convinced his father to hand over the gun and then called police.
When police arrived, the suspect reportedly surrendered peacefully and will be charged with murder.
There is no clear motive at this point. We're told the victim was shot several times.
