At about 2:30am Tuesday, Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home in the 29000 block of Baltic Avenue in Magnolia. Witnesses told authorities that Rodolfo Alvarez, 19, had become angry when he and other were asked to leave the home. They said Alvarez pulled out a rifle and threatened to shoot his father.
A struggle over the gun ensued, and the rifle went off, hitting the teen in the head. Alvarez was pronounced dead at the scene.
