New Jersey state trooper saves choking teen

TRENTON, NJ

The family of a special needs teenager pulled over along a New Jersey Turnpike when their son started choking on Sunday. State troopers pulled in behind them and one trooper performed the Heimlich for several minutes. He was finally able to dislodge the food and get the teen breathing again.

The 13-year-old did not require medical attention.
