The Texas Tech student was driving on the Southwest Freeway near Bissonnet when an SUV clipped his vehicle around 3:30 this morning. The SUV flipped and the driver and passenger got out and started running.
The student chased them and caught the driver. He held the driver until police showed up.
The driver will probably face hit and run charges. The passenger was taken to the hospital.
