It happened at around 1:30am on Wayside near Avenue I in Houston's East End.
Officers say the victim called police and gave them a description of the suspect's car. Police began canvassing the area and spotted a car matching the description. He led them on a chase before abandoning the car on Avenue N and 71st. Police say he ran behind some houses.
Officers deployed a K-9 unit, but have not found the suspect.
The victim was not injured and the search for the suspect continues.
