Sugar Land police search for man who used stolen credit card at Target store

SUGAR LAND, TX

Surveillance video from Target at 16300 Southwest Freeway shows a man with three children using the credit card to purchase Apple iPods and Xbox games totaling more than $820 on November 12, 2012.

The credit card was among several cards in a wallet left by accident the day before at a McDonalds at 3400 Highway 6. The owner of the wallet told police he was at the McDonalds from 6:45pm to 7:15pm. Later that night, he says his bank contacted him about a fraudulent debit card charge at a Shell gas station at 1750 Williams Trace Blvd., so he canceled the card.

The bank alerted him the next day that fraudulent credit card charges were attempted at a Walmart at 5501 Highway 6, and the Target. That's when police say the man realized his wallet was missing.

Anyone with information should call the Sugar Land Police Department at 281-275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).
