The shooting happened around noon Saturday at Westchase Ranch Apartments in the 11200 block of Olympia Drive at Wilcrest.
When police arrived, they found one male dead in an upstairs apartment. A female was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital. At last check, her condition was unknown.
Witnesses said three males fled the scene in a red Toyota Corolla, driving down Olympia toward Wilcrest.
