Man sought in bank robbery inside Sugar Land Kroger

SUGAR LAND, TX

On Saturday, May 26, police say a man robbed the IBC bank inside the Kroger store in the 11500 block of Highway 6 South in the Sugar Land area.

In surveillance video, you can see the man gives the teller a note, demanding money and making reference to a bomb. The teller stuffs some money into envelopes, puts them in a box and the man simply walks out with the cash.

There was no bomb. No one was injured during the robbery.

The subject is described as a black male wearing a black baseball cap with no logo. He wore large-framed black glasses with clear lenses. He had a beard and moustache and was described as being about 5-feet, 5-inches in height. He was wearing a gray shirt and dark pants with dress shoes. The teller estimated his age to be in his 30s.

Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
