Highway 105 in Mont. Co. reopens after acid spill

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX

Officials said a spill of hydrochloric acid had shut down Texas 105 in both directions at Walden Road starting at around 10am Wednesday. The road reopened shortly before 3pm.

The spill did not occur because of a wreck, a Montgomery County Sheriff's Office communications officer said. Hazmat crews with the Montgomery Fire Department were on the scene to help clean up the mess.

Montgomery ISD says school buses will be running on schedule today.
