Deputies were called to the Park at Fallbrook apartments in northwest Harris County around 10:30pm. They say two men knocked on the door and got into a struggle with the homeowner. One of the suspects shot the victim several times, killing him. Deputies say two children were home at the time.
"The suspects had bandanas pulled up over their faces, so robbery may be a motive," said Ben Beall with the Harris Co. Sheriff's Office homicide unit.
Witnesses say the suspects took off in a 2001 silver Chevy Impala.
