Parts of Loop 610 closed this weekend

HOUSTON There will be total closures of the main lanes of the 610 North Loop between Highway 59 and I-10. On Saturday, all of the westbound main lanes will be closed. On Sunday, all of the eastbound lanes will be closed.

Crews will be working to install concrete beams and panels.

Traffic will be diverted around the closures, but people are being urged to avoid the area.

SATURDAY DETOUR

All IH 610 westbound traffic will be detoured to IH 10 eastbound or westbound. Motorists destined to the IH 610 North Loop can take IH 10 West to US 59 North back to IH 610.

SUNDAY DETOUR

The IH 610 Loop North eastbound traffic will be detoured via US 59 northbound or southbound. Motorists destined to IH 610 East Loop can take US 59 going southbound to IH 10 East back to IH 610.
